Valdés Peninsula Shared Tour with Whale Watching

I toured the Valdés Peninsula from Puerto Madryn on a shared 9 to 10 hour excursion, with on-board sighting of southern right whales in Puerto Pirámides and visits to different parts of the reserve depending on the fauna and conditions of the day.
I departed from Puerto Madryn on a shared full-day tour of the Valdés Peninsula, with a guide in Spanish and English and on-board sighting of a southern right whale in Puerto Pirámides.
The tour continues through different sectors of the peninsula, with a visit to Punta Cantor and Caleta Valdés or, depending on the fauna and conditions of the day, Punta Norte.
During the day you will also visit the Istmo Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center and you will be able to observe terrestrial fauna such as guanacos, choiques, foxes and maras.
The order of the route can be modified by weather, road conditions or operating conditions. Sailing for whale watching takes priority during the tour.
The experience lasts approximately 9 to 10 hours and covers nearly 400 km on asphalt and gravel roads.
