Traditional Tango Show in El Querandí Buenos Aires
Traditional tango show at El Querandí, a historic tango house in San Telmo, with a live quartet, dancers and folk dance with drums and boleadoras, plus round-trip transfer from central hotels. No dinner.
Step into El Querandí, one of the most iconic tango houses in Buenos Aires, right in San Telmo, for a traditional tango show with round-trip transfer from central hotels.
The venue is a restored old general store with art deco details, twisted Solomonic columns, checkered floors and stained glass that take you back in time.
A quartet of piano, bandoneon, violin and double bass plays Gardel, Manzi and other greats while dancers trace the evolution of tango from its origins to today, closing with folk footwork, bombo drums and boleadoras.
This is a show-only experience, with no dinner or drinks included: on arrival you have time to settle at your table and order something to drink, paid at the venue.
The show lasts 90 minutes and the whole outing, with transfers, about 3 hours. Smart-casual clothing is suggested, and flash and filming are not allowed during the show.
