Colonia del Sacramento Premium Day Tour: History and Charm on a Unique Trip

9 hours

Easy

Cross the Río de la Plata by ferry and spend the day in Colonia del Sacramento, a World Heritage Site: hotel pickup in central Buenos Aires, guided walking tour, bus city tour, three-course lunch at Los Kamikazes and free time.
Colonia del Sacramento, a one-hour-and-fifteen-minute ferry ride from Buenos Aires, is one of the oldest towns in Uruguay, and its historic quarter is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Premium tour adds a bus city tour and a three-course lunch to the visit.
We pick you up at your hotel in central Buenos Aires and take you to the port to cross the Río de la Plata by ferry.
When you arrive in Colonia, go to the meeting point inside the terminal, where they will tell you who your guide is; your voucher shows the exact spot. First you take a walking tour of about an hour through the historic quarter, with a bilingual guide.
Then you continue with the panoramic bus city tour, with a stop at the Real de San Carlos Bullring, and have lunch whenever you like at Los Kamikazes restaurant: starter, main course and dessert. Drinks are paid separately.
Choose from three schedules: 8:30 departure with return at 17:00, 8:30 departure with return at 20:30 to stay until sunset, or 12:15 departure with return at 17:00. Pickup is two hours before the ferry: between 6:30 and 6:40, or between 10:15 and 10:25. The tour ends at the port of Buenos Aires; return to the hotel is not included. To enter Uruguay you need a passport or, if you are a Mercosur citizen, a valid national ID. Infants up to 12 months travel at the infant rate; from 1 year old, the child rate applies.
